Get to know the man running for Constable, his life, what he stands for, and what his plans are for the office!
Justin West is proud to have the opportunity to represent the citizens of Precinct 4 in Galveston County. Justin is a 10 year law enforcement veteran. In addition to his routine patrol duties, he made it a priority to spend time building relationships with the citizens and businesses in and around the areas where he was assigned.
Justin is a Lieutenant with the Galveston County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office., serves as the Public Information Officer, and manages the department’s Facebook page. Justin also assisted in the set up of the statistics reporting system at the Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, increasing the transparency and accountability of the office.
Justin holds a special place in his heart for his career in law enforcement. It was actually his first night on duty as a Police Officer that he met Holly, a volunteer Medical First Responder, who was dispatched to the same scene. Only a few months later, Hurricane Ike brought them closer together and the rest, as they say, is history.Holly, Justin, and son, Eli, reside in League City. They have family in both League City and Dickinson. Faith and family remain cornerstones of their lives. In fact, three generations attend church together on Sundays. Holly is a Physician Assistant at the University of Texas Medical Branch specializing in medical education and women’s health clinical research. Eli is an almost 5-year-old with a love of sports. He keeps his Mom and Dad running from event to event! Justin’s hobbies include wood-working, welding, and experimenting with new technology. He is a HAM Radio operator and enjoys building radio equipment.
